*These mother-daughter workshops are for girls and mothers to attend together. The intergenerational format (adult women and girls together) is carefully designed to teach content and to enrich relationships. Register for these events as a pair: one girl with one adult woman.
Yes, a woman other than a mother can accompany the girl! We want to serve all girls so any adult woman may bring a girl she cares about.

Growing Up Female Level 1 (for 4th, 5th, and 6th grade girls)*
Teach your daughter about body changes and the realities of being female in an uplifting environment with other girls and women. This workshop explores the normal changes that occur in girls as they grow into women, teaches girls how to deal with periods, breasts, and changing emotions, and it connects girls and adult women together in a powerful and positive way. The session is crafted to build self-esteem, positive body image, and a healthy sense of "being a girl." A warm and comfortable environment for questions, exploration, and learning, this experience sets the stage for future conversations and positive growth as your daughter transitions to adulthood. Take-home materials include learn-at-home audio programs valued at $50.
Growing up Female Level 2 (for the middle school years)*
This workshop offers girls and mothers a safe haven in the midst of the complexities and struggles of the middle-school years. The session explores and promotes positive relationships (with friends, parents, and boys), healthy and realistic body-image for the teen years (and beyond), opens conversations about sex, and addresses emotional intelligence all in an uplifting safe environment. Beauty, Bodies, Brains and Boys
Designed for girls in high school, this workshop addresses beauty, gender roles, cultural messages, and sexuality in an open and honest manner. There will be no sugar-coating of information in this workshop. Mothers and girls will listen to presentations, give feedback, engage in activities together, and explore stories of real girls, real women, and real issues.
This event is also available as a girl-only event (in addition to its availability as a mother-daughter workshop).
Mother-Daughter Tea
A celebration for mothers and daughters together. This event is geared towards girls ages 9 and up and all the way through adulthood. This one-hour experience is uplifting, empowering, and designed to connect girls and women to the goodness inside of each of them and to each other. A perfect event to celebrate the women and girls in your community, especially popular around Mother's Day.

Growing up Male
Parents have asked for this workshop for five years - so here it is. This event is for a parent (Mom or Dad) and their 11-13-year-old son. Parents, this event will help you 1) Establilsh guidelines between you and your son for growth, fun, and safety for the teen years, 2) Understand the profound changes your son will experience during his growing-up years, 3) Discuss challenging yet important topics about sexuality, and 4) Transmit strong values to your son. Father-Daughter Event:
Father-Daughter Magic, a Workshop for Middle School Girls and Dads
A dad may feel uncertain of his role in his daughter's life once she reaches the middle school years. This workshop is designed to connect dads and daughters and give them an understanding that can power them through the teen years. Dads learn how to support and guide a girl of today. Girls gain a new appreciation for Dad. Skills for communication, resilience, and positive emotional exchange will be taught. Best for girls 12 years and up.
